As a general rule, preptv does not post the last name of elementary students while identifying their participation in a school activity or promoting their accomplishment in Knowledge, Character,
and Leadership.  Likewise preptv does not include any reference to a student in a posted jpeg or mpeg image file name.  These precautions should eliminate parental concerns about a child being
identified as the result of an Internet search.  However, in the event that a parent is uncomfortable with a posted text or image, preptv will remove the text or image upon notification.

Pointe Schools Superintendent Johnson recently attended Harvard University's intensive four-day Institute; Charter Schools: Charting
a Course for the Next Decade.  The Harvard Graduate School of Education Institute brought together Harvard faculty, leading
practitioners, policy analysts and charter leaders from around the country to discuss current research and issues facing charter
schools.  Superintendent Johnson participated in presentations, case discussions and brainstorming sessions that were designed to
examine the elements of high performing charter schools, explore issues of scale-up, address topics of internal accountability,
discuss strategic challenges facing charters, and ultimately develop a theory of action.

"I really enjoyed working with the Harvard faculty and other charter leaders," said Superintendent Johnson.  Pointe Schools has
already begun to implement several action plans that were developed at the Institute and Superintendent Johnson was able to share
some of her insights at a recent District In-Service.
