As a general rule, preptv does not post the last name of elementary students while identifying their participation in a school activity or promoting their accomplishment in Knowledge, Character,
and Leadership.  Likewise preptv does not include any reference to a student in a posted jpeg or mpeg image file name.  These precautions should eliminate parental concerns about a child being
identified as the result of an Internet search.  However, in the event that a parent is uncomfortable with a posted text or image, preptv will remove the text or image upon notification.

Students use Music to learn about Cultures
Each year students prepare for an exciting week where Pinnacle's Music program is focusing on traditional music from a variety of countries.  Under
the direction of Pinnacle's music teacher, each grade level prepares a special presentation highlighting a specific country.  Students then have the
opportunity to present what they have learned during Pinnacle's 'Tour around the World.'

Band enters third year at Pinnacle
Pinnacle sixth graders have the opportunity to participate in a Arts program that features band and is taught by North Pointe Prep Arts Department
faculty. The Prep's Debbie Hutson returns to Pinnacle on Monday and Wednesdays for band.  Mrs. Hutson, along with her husband, Kris Hutson
introduced the band program to the school two years ago and will be returning to the elementary campuses to enrich the program for the 2009-10
school year.

Young Rembrandts Art Program is success
Ms. Megill and the Young Rembrandts Art Program are a huge success again this year. Young Rembrandts provides children's art classes that
develop art talents along with the learning skills that give elementary age children an academic advantage in the classroom.  Using a step-by-step
proprietary method based on the same concepts used to teach science, math, and reading, Young Rembrandts provides children's  art classes
that teach children how to draw while developing critical learning skills and advancing children's overall art literacy.

PPA hosts first annual Spring Arts Festival
Pinnacle Pointe hosted their first annual Spring Arts Festival the week of May 11th.  With dance, drama, and art displays taking center stage, the
week was a huge success. The week began with a display of the students art from the Young Rembrandts program and was followed by several
performances.  The Pinnacle Cafe was filled for the drama presentations, dance performances, and music performances.  The 2009 Spring Arts
Festival ended on a grand scale! For the first time ever, all the bands in the Pointe Schools system performed under one roof. The Nest was
packed as the beginning bands from Canyon, Pinnacle and North Pointe kicked off the concert.
