Basketball Season to begin

April marks the start of Canyon and Pinnacle's final sports season, coed basketball. The 4th through 6th grade intramural sports seasons have
continued to be successful and this year's basketball season is the first but sure to be just as remarkable. The basketball season will begin April
5th with two weeks of practice on Mondays through Thursdays. The schedule will then incorporate games based on the number of teams
participating. All students interested in playing must complete an Athletic Informed Consent form and the $25.00 participation fee prior to the start
date.

Pinnacle promotes Sportsmanship
Pinnacle and our sister school, Canyon Pointe Academy, are working together to promote an environment that ensures team work and
sportsmanship through our 4th-6th grade recreational intramural league. Not only are the students learning the skills needed to play the sports
they are also being taught the concept of team and working together. Pinnacle Pointe and Canyon Pointe, along with the involvement of Parents
are also working to ensure academic achievement. Each student is required to maintain a specific grade point average in order to be considered
eligible to play the specific sport. If a student falls under that eligibility, they are placed on an improvement plan that works with the Coaches and
the student's teachers. With several seasons already in place, the athletic program offers a range of sports that also allows for students to have
involvement in more than what they are typically use to. Students who have not previously played the sport are given a weeks time to 'try the sport
out' and then sign ups take place. With everyone working together the athletic programs are sure to be a success.
